When it launched in 1994, L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme made everything else smell heavy. Built around yuzu — the sharp Japanese citrus — with a watery spice of nutmeg and water lily, it dries to a quiet vetiver-sandalwood base with the faintest tobacco warmth.
